Beautiful lake. There's a flat loop trail that takes you around the whole lake. It's easily accessible and there are plenty of benches to take a break . It's literally right next to the bear lake trailhead and shuttle stop.
This lake and the entire Bear Lake area is way too crowded for my liking. The scenery is beautiful but the crowds and overused trails beyond ruin the scenery and the entire experience. Looking at license plates, it appears that Colorado has been overrun by Texans and Californians.
